Choose a case, read its documents, follow cross-references and pin evidence. Write a theory and test one of three case-specific findings. The archive will tell you what supports your reading, what challenges it and what remains unknowable.

Each document contains a primary text, a possible counter-reading and a provenance limitation. The exercise rewards careful uncertainty, not confident accusation.
